The Dual Diploma Program
The Dual Diploma is an innovative educational program that allows students to simultaneously attend their high school in Italy and specific courses offered by an accredited American school. Upon completing the program, the student will obtain two diplomas: the Italian diploma and the American diploma. This achievement opens the doors to numerous international academic opportunities, ensuring a globally-oriented education.
Key Advantages of the Program
One of the greatest benefits of the Dual Diploma program is its flexibility. The courses are not conducted live but are delivered asynchronously, allowing students to organize their study modules according to their personal schedules. Lessons and activities can be completed at convenient times, including weekends, making it easy to balance academic and personal commitments.
The program is offered in collaboration with the prestigious Wayland High School, a private school located in Massachusetts, USA, consistently recognized as one of the best schools in the Boston area. This partnership ensures a high-quality educational experience, combining excellence with flexibility, and making the program both accessible and engaging for Italian students.
How It Works
Students who wish to embark on this path will be supported by one of our tutors, specialized in the program. The tutor will identify the most suitable study plan based on the student’s needs and goals, ensuring personalized support and an optimal learning experience.
To obtain the American high school diploma, a total of 24 credits is required.
Thanks to the Dual Diploma Program, the American high school recognizes 18 credits earned by Italian students. Therefore, only 6 credits need to be completed remotely through the U.S. school.
The 6 Credits Are Divided as Follows:
-
2 Mandatory Credits
-
An Advanced English course
-
A U.S.-focused social studies course (e.g., American History)
